Abortion Access Front presents the L’Abortion Variety Hour: A Cavalcade of Cooch! A throwback variety show, packed with tunes and comedy sketches that cheekily highlight how even in 2024, society seems to be sliding backward into an era rife with misogyny, racism, homophobia, and sexism.

Celebrity interview and performance by Jon Langford and Sally Timms of the legendary British punk band, The Mekons!

Burlesque by Dannie Diesel (Danielle Colby from American Pickers)

Musical performances by chanteuse and actor Bethany Thomas (Marie and Rosetta) and singer and multi-instrumentalist Nora O’Connor (The Decemberists, Iron & Wine)

Standup Comedy by Marcella Arguello (Bitch, Grow Up on HBO Max) and Rebecca O’Neal (Comedy Central, Netflix, The CW)

All this and some secret special guests, like dancing and singing abortion pills.

Proceeds from this show will benefit Abortion Access Front.

ABOUT ABORTION ACCESS FRONT
Founded in 2015 by comedian and Daily Show co-creator Lizz Winstead, Abortion Access Front (Abortion AF) is a nonprofit organization made up of activists, comedians, writers, and producers. They use humor to destigmatize abortion and expose the extremist forces working to destroy access to reproductive rights and abortion in all 50 states. Abortion AF’s provocative and hilarious multimedia content educates people about the pervasive and discriminatory abortion laws that disproportionately impact people in BIPOC communities, while also working on the ground, growing support, and raising awareness for independent abortion providers– the community clinics who bear the brunt of anti-abortion legislation and harassment, and provide the majority of abortion care in the country.
